Hi!

To use Price Tapestry, you need to get a database of products from the shops.

When you have the database file from the shop, you put this on your website and it loads the products into your Price Tapestry database.

The files are supplied by Affiliate Networks. They let you earn money every time somebody buys a product from the shop when they found it on your website.

When you are looking in the Affiliate Networks, the database files that you need are sometimes called "Datafeeds" and sometimes called "Product Feeds". The networks will give you help in how to find the feeds and download them so that you can put them on your own site, using software like Price Tapestry.

Shops won't give their database.
Maybe list with products in the format xml, then it is possible to join more shops?
And shops can check clics into their products?

Hi,

Many shops that run an Affiliate Program give you access to a database of their products. This is normally a text file called a "product feed"

In most cases, you get the file from the Affiliate Network that runs their program. Sometimes, shops run their own Affiliate Program and provide their product feed directly.

This is the key difference. You cannot use Price Tapestry with products from any shop; they have to be running an Affiliate Program...

Regarding check clicks, the affiliate networks normally let the shops see how many clicks they have received from their affiliates.
