On the index page of my review site i'd like to show products with the biggest saving, a product select where there's more than one merchant selling the product & the saving is greater than 20% between the lowest & highest price (perhaps just the top 10 biggest savings). Can this be done? I'm willing to pay additionally for it.

Merry Christmas to you to! It should be possible but would probably need to be calculated "offline" (after each import) and setup in a static table as I don't think it is practical to do it live (but you never know)...
Bear with me and i'll do some experiments to see what can be done...
