Cron import removes product table from database

Hello David, hope you are well.

Have just run into a problem after moving my sites to a new host 3 days ago.
There are multiple installs.
Since the move, everytime one install updates products from cron I'm left with an empty site, no products!

Looking at the database I see the product table has been deleted during the update.
If I re-install DB from backup, re-run the cron, it works fine. Not sure if it will re-run again without the same problem as I only update weekly.

I ran DB repair on all installs after the first occurrence 3 days ago , but it hasn't made any difference. I am seeing error logs, but also had them at the previous host were they updated fine, so not sure if the logs are related to the issue.

Here's a snippet from the log, same error logs found on all installs:

{code saved}

Any idea what could be causing the updates to fail ?
Also, would it be possible to run these installs on PHP 7.0 now? (existing 5.6)

Regards,
G.

Hi,

I know you have been running the script for several years now, please could you email me scripts/cron.php from the installation used for the sites on this install and I'll check that out further with you. If you could also confirm the distribution in use I'll confirm what (if anything) you need to do for PHP7 (forward compatibility patches are available)

Cheers,
David.
