I'm having a problem adding to the drop-down menus (categories)
Not sure if it is in menu.php I should add
<li>Item One</li>
and at what line and if $config_useCategoryHierarchy = TRUE; should be set to true.

Thank you for that, is $config_useCategoryHierarchy the only item needed to generate the drop-down menus? I am using AWIN feeds and they load OK but no drop-down menu - It makes an attempt, a quick blink of something but no menu

Hi Philip,
With Category Hierarchy Mapping enabled, the drop-down displays your own Category Hierarchy as designed in the Category Hierarchy Mapping admin tool.
Continue to map the feed category field as the Category on Feed Registration Step 2, and then after import, either use the Configure function per category in your hierarchy, or the Reverse Mapping tool to map the feed categories into your hierarchy. Finally, re-import to apply the mappings.

If you are using Category Hierarchy Mapping, then yes - $config_useCategoryHierarchy should be set to TRUE. In this case, the drop-down is generated dynamically straight from the database.
Otherwise, could you perhaps describe where you want "Item One" to appear (don't forget the instructions for adding custom drop-down menus in this comment) and I'll try and point you in the right direction...
