search and replace filter

I have been trying to work with the search and replace filter for one of my feeds. I am needing to change the name field but its not working or Im not getting it right. I have a list of names
exp. "Seed Name (Farm Name Seeds)" where I need to search each field and search for "Farm Name Seeds" and replace it with "Farm Name". But after I have the filter set up I re-import and nothing changes. Am I getting it right that it should search and replace the data in each data field in each column?

Hi,

You'd need to attach a Search and Replace filter to each field that you want to apply the operation to, so if you need to make the change to both the Product Name and Description fields, first click Filters alongside the feed, then add a new Search and Replace filter to the Product Name field configure as follows;

Search:
Farm Name Seeds

Replace:
Farm Name

And then do the same but for the Description field, and then re-import and the changes should have been applied. Let me me know if you're still not sure of course and I'll check it out further with you...
