I have many products (gift items) that fit in several sub-categories. Is there any way to do this or would it severely strain mysql resources? Would this also apply to putting merchant categories in more than one sub-category?
I have helped users support multiple standard categories and the same will be possible for Category Hierarchy but will require more substantial code and database changes due to the categoryid field being a single INT value on the `pt_products` table - if you could bear with me whilst I complete the next distribution which is due to be released shortly I'll do some tests to work out the best approach.
