Is it possible to have a block list like the category mapping to block certain categorys from importing. I've customised the feed as much as I can before download from the affiliate network but theres still load of categories being imported that I would rather not have.

Drop Record RegExp will do the job - if it's a long list best to manage the list in a separate text file on your local computer and paste into the filter configuration for the Drop Record RegExp filter against the category field of the feed. The format for dropping multiple categories is
(Category 1|Category 2|Category 3)e.g. pipe separated list all enclosed by brackets...
