config.php not found

I just finished uploading all the files to my server. I edited and renamed config.php.dist to config.php after making the necessary changes but I keep getting the error message. config.php not found, please copy config.php.dist to config.php to continue

I have triple checked to make sure it was renamed correctly. I have all the files under the root of my domain name. I can access the admin section (even though there are errors since the database is not set up yet).

Do you know any reason why it can not see my config.php file?
