Hello
in my Price Tapestry Admin one of my feeds shows a total click count of 698. But the affiliate merchant report shows a total of only 5 clicks!
I'm going to import the feed again, maybe I mixed up one of the fields, but is there a way to check what the current merchant link is for a particular merchant?
cheers

Hi David
thanks for the response. However I already have an exclusion for /jump.php in my robots.txt file.
I'm going to chalk it up as something I did when I uploaded the feed - it is one of the newest feeds I have in the database but the click count is more than double it's nearest rival. I'll re-import it, reset the count and keep an eye on it.
cheers

Hello ph,
It may well be search enginges and other crawlers requesting your /jump.php file causing the click increase on your site, whereas they are not following the actual link.
I would recommend placing an exclusion for /jump.php in robots.txt. To do this, create a file called robots.txt in the top level directory of your site, containing the following text:
User-Agent: *
Disallow: /jump.php
(note that if Price Tapestry is installed into a sub-directory, make sure to use the folder name also, for example /comparison/jump.php)
Cheers,
David.
