Hi,
I tried uploading a feed, its not very big around 20mb I have uploaded others bigger.
But with this particular one its bringing this message up:
Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 33554432 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 33556480 bytes) in includes/MagicParser.php on line 2
Any ideas?
Thanks David,
Always a fast reply. :-)
I'll just download it again. Failing that i'll modify it.
Thank you again.
I used to get this loads of times with feeds of all sizes. I would download the file myself and it would look correct.
Eventually due to other reasons I changed web host - and the problems disappeared. I recon it was somthing to do with the way the web host was limiting the bandwidth that was corrupting the feeds.
Hi,
Is this happening when you click "Register"?
This implies that the parser has had to keep reading and reading in order to find an end of line or end of record, and could indicate that the feed you have uploaded is compressed, for example.
I appreciate it can be difficult to study large files to check they are valid but if you are able to can you look at the feed in a text editor in order to check the format? If you're not sure, feel free to email me a link to your site and the filename of the feed and I will download it from your /feeds/ folder to my test server and take a look for you...
Cheers,
David.
