Hi Darren,

What problem in particular are you having with sitemap.php? It should be possible to create a static file - i'll take a look at that for you...

Cheers,
David.

Hi David,

I have rechecked sitemaps on google this morning and i have now only three errors i think the problem may have beed with google crawl yesterday.

The three errors where empty merchants i now removed them and post back on the forum later was google have respidered the sitemap. I think it would still be good if we could create a static xml map at some point also i have David I released a project today on renta coder for extra mods I wanted done I was going to hold back the magic parser scripts of yours as the coder would not need it for the extra mods to be done hope this is cool with you all the best

Hi Dave,

Back again is possible that we could create static site map i get a lot time outs on sitemap.php from google its not your code i thinks it bandwidth issue bargain shack gets very busy at times with all my other sites i think google complaining connection time outs so would prefer to create static XML site map and save server side then submit this to google.

Kind Regards

Hi Darren,

Absolutely no reason why you can't do this using the existing code. Simply browse to sitemap.php manually, and then save the output as something like "sitemapStatic.xml" and then upload that file to the same directory as sitemap.php, and then submit sitemapStatic.xml to Google instead of sitemap.php - should work fine!

Cheers,
David.
