Eek! Notice: Undefined index: numMerchants

Submitted by shabbysheep on Thu, 2008-07-17 08:10 in

Morning David,

I appear to have cadoodled something on my site - the following is being shown before the price on search results.

Notice: Undefined index: numMerchants in \\NAS42ENT\domains\c\compare-pushchairs.co.uk\user\htdocs\html\searchresults.php on line 20

It seems to be the number of merchants for comparison which isn't being printed, but after a late night of tweaking I can't remember where I may have made a mistake.

Could you help put things right please?

Many thanks,

shabbysheep

Hi,

numMerchants comes all the way through from the search query, executed in search.php - so the first thing to check, if you are using searchresults.php to display products not sourced via the SQL (or by some other SQL); is perhaps to add a numMerchants field to the array.

Basically, check wherever you are populating the $searchresults["products"] array; and make sure that a numMerchants field is set. Feel free to drop me an email with any code you would like me to have a look at if you're not sure...

Cheers,
David.
