I could not find an answer so fast on the forum.
Don't know so good how to explain this but i try.
I use many feeds that have/use different fields as example I have a feed with 400 products I use many times the additional fields for the category and brand.
The problem with the additional fields is when you import you see the sample data with which field is what additional number. Example ADDITIONAL/FIELD@6-VALUE = the one I used on the sample data.
This is all going good till some products in the XML feed not use ADDITIONAL/FIELD@5 or 4-VALUE than the sort is not working anymore because the Orginal additional/Field 6 is changed in 4 or so.
So I use ADDITIONAL/FIELD@6-VALUE which is good on 40 products from the 400 than the other 360 use a different Additional field numbers.
This shouldn't be a problem if it was just 1 feed but many feeds I use have this problem.
If you understand what I mean do you think there's a idea/fix for?

I understand this problem.
It is because the style of XML is putting field names in the value part of the record, rather than as an actual field name, so there is no easy way to extract it.
The number @n is different sometimes because there are a different number of additional fields.
I will have a think about this, and perhaps a new filter might be able to do something..
