Amazon (again, sorry)

Submitted by Mik3 on Thu, 2008-06-05 16:41 in

David,

Apologies for bringing this back up again, I had a look through the forum but couldn't see an answer elsewhere. I've been looking at putting Amazon into one of my sites as they have considerably more products than anyone else.

Ideally I'd like it to auto update and not have to build the feed manually as this may become tiresome after a while (especially with daily updates).

If I was to use the code in http://www.pricetapestry.com/node/518 would this include my Amazon associates ID so I'd get commision if someone were to buy through one of the product urls in the link?

Just I could run this and then auto update the feed once it was registered?

Or is it far more difficult than that?

Thanks for your continued help and patience!

Hi,

Sure - just insert your Amazon Associates ID on this line:

  $url .= "&SubscriptionId=YOUR-SUBSCRIPTION-ID";

...then all the links will be your affiliate links!

Cheers,
David.
