Please, anyone show me how Price Tapestry script can be dressed up! I mean is it easy to change a look? And what are examples of changing look of it? Any websites?
The script has been designed so that you can change the "Look and Feel" very easily without having to write any PHP simply by modifying the files in the html/ directory of your installation.
The files in this directory are mostly HTML with a little inline PHP; so making changes here, perhaps in conjunction with default.css is all you need to do to make visual modifications to your site.
The filenames in this directory indicate which element of the site that file contains the HTML, for example html/product.php is the main product information display on the product pages, and html/prices.php is the price comparison table displayed below that.
If you have a look through some of the links on the customer sites and comments page you will see all sorts of modifications that have been made; and there is also a 3rd party website - Price Tapestry Templates (we are not associated with them commercially) where you can buy "themes" for Price Tapestry as an alternative to making your own visual mods...
