Sitemaps for Multiple Directories

Hi David,

Have a site with multiple directories which is about to go live. What's the best way to deal with a sitemap for the whole site. Should I upload a sitemap for each directory?

Hi Adrian,

Yes - Google doesn't accept an "Index of Indexes" so you will need to submit one sitemap per directory.
