Hi,
I have installed price tapestry into a category on my site called "books" which lists all the categories from any feeds in the book category part of the site.
However when I click on one of the listed categories it says no products found even though products have been uploaded into the category.
It is odd because it is picking up the category itself, in this example the sub category in the books section is "religious" and you can see
http://www.findallsorts.com/shopUSA/c/books/
that the category is being found and listed, so I am unclear what I have done wrong that is making no products show up within the category itself.
Could you point me to the correct files in the price tapestry script that will make a difference to this, as I have successfully used this technique for sub categories on another part of the site, which I can easily copy the php files that deal with this over to this new category. It is just that as I have not worked on this for a while, I cannot remember which files it is I need to look at that were doing this.
Thanks
clare
Yes, that was it, it was pointing to the shopUK category list.
Many Thanks
Hi Clare,
I think this is an issue with .htaccess, resulting in:
http://www.findallsorts.com/shopUSA/c/books/
~and~
http://www.findallsorts.com/shopUSA/c/books/category/Religious/
..not pointing to the same installation / version of search.php.
Check the RewriteBase entry in .htaccess. I'm not 100% because I notice that you have got a different category listing showing if you go to:
http://www.findallsorts.com/shopUSA/c/books/category/
...and it is this one that I think it being searched when you click on the "Religious" link in the books index, and as you will see it has no Religion category, hense no results.
Hope this points you in the right direction!
Cheers,
David.
