Would it be possible to integrate a filter for categorys?
For example, one feed had
Interiors>Living>Occasional Furniture
So categories would be multi level and on the import, I would be able to specify what the divider would be in this case it would be >

I'm afraid this isn't possible in the current version although you can of course apply general filters to the category field. Hierarchical categorisation has been requested before so it is something I shall consider for the future; however i'm afraid it is a complex development that somewhat changes the direction of the script from search tool (with the indexes provided primarily for search engine benefit) to a navigable shopping portal with many more incremental requirements implied (such as a bread crumb trail etc.).
My main worry is that this will leave many users disappointed; as they would purchase the script expecting to be able to create a nice shopping portal with hierarchical categories and breadcrumbs etc, and then find that there just isn't the data available to let them do it. Very few feeds provide quality category data; let alone hierarchical data.
Looking at Froogle; Google have basically taken a similar view; in that trying to manage categorisation across merchants is basically a loosing battle. It's one of those things that sounds very straight forward in principle; but almost completely unrealistic in practice for reasons that are outside our control; so i'm sorry this isn't the usual "yes it's coming in the next release!" response, but I hope this helps clarify the situation...
