Question before I buy

Submitted by shares on Tue, 2006-11-07 01:07 in

Lets say I have a website with information on Fax-Modems. One page lists various makes, models, and manufacturer offerings from Commission Junction.

Can I configure Price Tapestry to aggregate this data for me?

Right now, I have to manually collect the link on each Fax-Modem and paste the link into the page manually. With a lot of different info websites, this becomes time intensive.

Thanks looking forward to your replies.

Hi,

I'm not sure Price Tapestry will automatically do what you require; however having imported product feeds from each merchant you would certainly see the name and description on the search results page for "Fax Modem" (assuming that each product has sufficient keywords in the product title to match that query). As an example (although I don't have any fax modems listed), have a look at the following search result page on the Price Tapestry demo site:

Colour Laser Printer

Each product name is a link to the individual product page, although if you didn't want to use Price Tapestry's product pages it would be easy enough to modify the main link to be the Buy URL instead.

Hope this helps!
Cheers,
David.
