Hello,
I think I have an error in my sitemap
{link saved}
I only see the imports of the shops what can I do?

Hi Tobix,

I'm not actually seeing the sitemap being returned at the moment but you may be working on your site...

However, that sounds normal - by default sitemap.php on its own returns a sitemap index - each link returns another sitemap urlset of all product pages for that merchant...

Cheers,
David.

the problem is everything works but the sitemap on search console is empty. If I go via URL I find the products in each merchant.

Hi Tobix,

The search console normally reports any errors otherwise it should list the number of URLs discovered but I am still seeing your "Not Found" page for the sitemap.php URL you posted in your first message so it looks like the file is not uploaded. Please could you check that and if looks OK post again the URL that you are looking at to see the products in each merchant...

Thanks,
David.

Hi Tobix,

That link works fine - it is returning the index as expected and then browsing to one of the individual merchants the urlset is returned as expected.

The sitemap URL doesn't need to end in .xml, just return the correct XML sitemap vocabulary.

So having submitted the sitemap url to search console you should then see after a certain period (I don't think they are requested immediately) the number of URLs submitted - it may just be a case of waiting for the crawl if that hasn't yet appeared...

Cheers,
David.
