feeds downloaded but not saving

Hi David

I have moved to a new vps server and now when i use the automation tool it looks like it is downloading the csv and when i look in the feeds foler i can see it is saving a tmp file but when it has completed there is nothing in the feeds folder.

Hi Paul,

That's a strange one; it sounds like the Automation Tool may be timing out however all admin scripts run with set_time_limit(0) assuming that is permitted by your server / PHP configuration so that would be one thing to check (and with a VPS you should have full control / root access so your host may be able to help in that instance); however if the job does appear to complete and return to the main Automation Tool page, i) What status does the job show (normally would be "OK") and ii) has the tmp file disappeared from /feeds/?

When i download it i can see the tmp file is begin created but when it has completed no file is saved and the tmp file goes.

this is a new vps 8gb, 6 core processor so i would have that that is good enough.
