Cron Error

Submitted by tommo101 on Fri, 2020-09-04 14:25 in

Cron has been working fine, well always...

But...

I've recently upgraded my server to use PHP 7.4.0

Now each night when the cron job tries to run I get the following error:

“ea-php72” is not an EA4 SCL PHP

If I go into shell and run the cron job manually from there I get the same error.

I can still do normal slow imports and stuff like that through the browser using the admin control panel.

Help.. Please...

Hi tommo,

I know you've been using the script for many years now - I don't recognise the command line (cron) error but the first thing to try anyway if not applied already would be to upload the appropriate Forward Compatibility Patch for your distribution which can be found here.

As you may have made modifications over time make sure to backup any of the patched files before uploading the new versions, and if you're not sure of anything of course or if the errors persist just let me know and I'll check it out further with you...

Cheers,
David.
