Apache re-write

Submitted by thelegacy on Sat, 2018-01-13 02:06 in

Hi David,
Thanks again for your help the other day. Have a new question for you, site is serving ssl now, I need to add the correct re-write rule(s) in htaccess, not sure for the pt variables though so wanted to ask your opinion/help before I plug this in:

{code saved}

I'm hoping this is all I'll need to have, products showing as they do in http:// only now they will be https://

Thanks for the help in advance,

Ray

Hello Ray,

Your http > https redirect looks fine - so other than that there should be no changes required however I know you've been using the script for several years now so if you are not running the latest distribution I would recommend updating sitemap.php from 16/10A which generates http or https URLs depending upon the request protocol (so if sitemap.php requested over https it will return https URLs)...

Cheers,
David.

David,

Ok, thanks for the look. I am upgraded to the lastest distribution, will check the sitemap.php though to be sure, appreciate the tip on that.
