Displaying Category in Breadcrumb

Hi David,

I’m using ‘breadcrumbs’ on my pages and this works well except where the user navigates to a product page via a product category menu. I’ve noticed that when the user applies a sidebar filter before reaching the product page the breadcrumb contains all the detail from the filter. For example:

"Home / Category / Boys%2FSchool Shoes&brandFilter%5B%5D=Geox&discountFilter=0&specialofferFilter=&minPrice=&maxPrice= / Geox Crush Boys School Shoes boys Shoes Trainers in black"

I wondered if you might be able to suggest a way I can remove the “Boys%2FSchool Shoes&brandFilter%5B%5D=Geox&discountFilter=0&specialofferFilter=&minPrice=&maxPrice=” portion from the breadcrumb and instead show the category?

Thanks in advance.

Best regards

Chris

Hello Chris,

I think breadcrumbs in your version / template are in html/banner.php - please could you forward that file and I'll check it out for you...

Cheers,
David.
