Feed Inspector Tool for 16/10A

Hi David

I am trying to set up a niche site, but I am struggling to find individual products in a feed.

I just came across this thread https://www.pricetapestry.com/node/5335 and I was wondering if there is an updated version of these Feed Inspector Tool for 16/10A.

Hi,

It's now built in as the Imported Analysis tool - from /admin/ go to Tools > Feed Utilities and then click Imported Analysis alongside a feed to browse and search products...

It seems I am not understanding how this all works together.

So far, I have defined one single product in product mapping and therefore I am seeing now only one single product in the Imported Analysis Tool. How can I see the remaining products?

Hi,

Because you are using Niche Mode ($config_nicheMode set to TRUE at line 53 in config.advanced.php) only products specified in Product Mapping are imported so that is all that is seen by the Imported Analysis tool.

Bear with me and first thing tomorrow I will document the steps for adding a shadow "products_all" table so that when using Niche Mode the front-end remains restricted to only those products set-up in Product Mapping, whilst the beack-end still has visibility of all products... (I'll start a new thread with the mods)
