search multiple installs

Hi David

I am redoing a large site and breaking down categories into individual installs of PT

ie
site.com/cloths
site.com/garden

Each one would be a stand alone PT install

What I wanted was a way to search each of these sites from one place, a search box and a drop down for each category/install.

Is this possible?
