Misspelt Search

I understand this is probably not simple but how do sites that offer alternatives to misspelt searches handle it? Do they use soundex?

Thanks
Dave

Hi Dave,

Soundex is certainly an option; however I guess they also use traditional spell checking algorithms.

Cheers,
David.

Hi Darren,

Bear with me - I'll take a look at the link you found and see what would be involved to incorporate it into Price Tapestry's search code...

Cheers,
David.
