I have a problem with .htaccess and Options -MultiViews . I have just opened an account with fasthosts and kept getting the message...
"Internal Server Error
The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request"
Their people fixed it by turning of the .htaccess file? this resulted in the website shows the front page but the rest of the website is not working of course.
Is there a workaround the Options -MultiViews ?

Hello Philip,
You can safely remove the line;
Options -MultiViews...from .htaccess, I'll review this in the distribution and add the appropriate IF container, but otherwise, if you remove that line and then re-instate your .htaccess file everything should work fine...
