I have created a custom field called gender where some of the feeds have it and some dont.
However on some feeds I can tell the gender as the entire store is a menswear shop for example.
On admin/feeds_register_step2.php is it possible to have a box to add "Enter a Gender or" select from the dropdown box. This is similar to the one already for brand and category.
Where the feed has a gender I will use the drop down otherwise I will override.

Hi Richard,
Sure - instructions here (updated for 15/09A) for custom field "keywords", simply follow the steps there replacing all instances of "keywords" with "gender" and that should do the trick.
Note that since you have already added the custom field as normal just use the second dbmod.php script in that thread to add the user_ value to pt_feeds rather than the full dbmod script...
