I would like to ask your opinion concerning the set up of datafeed on pricetapestry
Should I insert different feed for each merchant or one datafeed with all the merchants which will be a huge one.
My preference is always individual feeds per merchant, as then should any filtering etc. be necessary to handle a particular oddity from a single merchant you don't have to have the filters applied to the single huge feed, and if you're working on mappings etc. for a particular merchant you only have to import their feed for the mappings to be applied rather than a single full feed, but that's all really - the script is ultimately designed to work with any combination of single feeds per merchant, multiple feeds per merchant, or multiple feeds all with multiple merchants!
