Editing field mappings

Submitted by ChrisNBC on Tue, 2013-12-10 13:19 in

Hi David,

Hope all is going well.

I wondered if you could tell me if there is a way I can create a set of import mappings, import the file and then go back and change one of the mapping fields without having to re-map every field for the feed?

The reason I ask is that I'm working with a set of feeds which are quite complex in their structure and also contain a large number of fields. Although I have planned out (on paper) the fields to map, I'm frequently finding I need to map the fields differently to get the filters to work how I need them to. In some cases, I'm having to remap all 30-40 fields in a feed just because one is mapped wrongly. If there was some way to easily edit a mapping that had already been created it would make things much easier and quicker!

Thanks in advance.

Regards
Chris

Cheers,
David.
