DataTables warning

Submitted by Bakalinge on Thu, 2013-09-05 16:15 in

Hi David,

I got the following error message since I tried to De-Register a feed :

DataTables warning (table id='example'):Requested unknown parameter '7' from the data source for row 18

I first de-registered this feed because data were corrupted, before to reimport it. Then I registered it under another name, but the corrupted files still appeared in the feed-list (while the file is not on the server anymore), like if I still have some data in the database...

Your assistance is greatly appreciated :)

Thanks !

Hello Bak,

I didn't recognise that error message as being anything PHP / MySQL related so I looked it up and it appears to be something jQuery related.

Using your FTP program, ensure that the old corrupted feed is deleted from /feeds/ - and also delete and de-register (if necessary) any replacement that you may have registered using the same merchant name.

Having done that, create and run the purge.php script from this comment. That will ensure that there are no "orphan" products in the `products` table.

Finally, upload the latest, good version of the feed, re-register and re-import, and that should remove any database inconsistency that may have occurred.

If not, if you could post an example URL showing the error message (and any username/password required if a protected area) - i'll remove the details before publishing your reply - or alternatively of course email me if you like, and I'll check it out further for you.

Cheers,
David.
