Feed Import and Category

Hi,

I have a feed where the merchant has their category as "Animals > Pet Supplies > Dog Supplies > Dog Food"

I can map Dog Food to my category using mapping but not sure how to handle this as in the CSV it does no just say "dog food" it has the "Animals > Pet Supplies > Dog Supplies >" before "Dog Food"

Any suggestions please, can tweak it manually but when we automate feeds won't be able to do that

Hi Stuart,

Category Mapping is keyword match by default, so entering "Dog Food" on its own as an alternative should capture the value as it appears in the feed, no need to worry about the hierarchy prefix. If it's not behaving as expected let me know how you have the mapping set up, and your current Alternatives list and I'll investigate further for you...
