Hi Tom,

I'm afraid there is no built in automatic update. There are so many different ways to do it, and potential "problems" that it would be impossible to make an easy to install "off the shelf" script that could do everything automatically.

However, the script does support you in getting everything automated. There are PHP scripts included that you can call from a CRON job (a CRON job is something you can setup on your hosting account that runs specific commands at regular intervals), and i've produced a comprehensive guide for setting up automation:

As it stands, without doing any of the automation described in that thread you need to upload merchant's product feeds manually and then "Import" them from the administration interface whenever you wish to do an update.
