Seasons Greetings

Hi everyone,

I just wanted to wish everyone on the forum and all my customers all the best for the festive season and a prosperous New Year!

The WordPress plugin has been very well received (thanks for all the feedback!) and ready to go at "Version 1" in the first week of January and I'll then concentrate on replicating the functionality as a Joomla extension as I know many of you are eagerly awaiting that development. In parallel, I'll be publishing plugin versions of the API modules.

I also have another exciting project in development that will be of interest to many Price Tapestry users. Website backup; not just file contents but also of databases and other dynamically generated files can be difficult to set-up in such a way that you can bring your websites up on another host in just a few minutes should you need to; so I'm looking forward to making the systems that I have developed to manage this for my own websites available to use for all!

Have a good one!

David

Hi,
Best wishes too.

If I could make a suggestion for the backup? Could you make it more like a replicate function. So that you can replicate an existing website on the same host with a different (website) name?

Thank you Marco.

Yes - the system I have developed would enable you to do that; it is essentially identical to maintaining a back-up on a different server.

Cheers,
David.
