Temporary import table

Hi David,

I was wondering if you had suggestions on the best way to modify the standard import script so instead of truncating the product table it imports into a temporary table and then quickly drops and copies the temp table. My import is taking over an hour, and I fear that I'm not only losing conversions but also being penalized by Google for a high number of 404 links.
