Hi David,
Hope you had a nice weekend. Just a quick question. For some reason when I use exact match by using an equals sign (=) at the start of a line it doesn't work. I'm not sure if its something I've done to a file. Can you tell me what file would affect this so I can check it? Thanks.
Allan
Thanks David, I'm running the latest version with the product helper. Names without the = in front work but I'm getting results which an exact match would not pick up. I'll check these files with the originals. Thanks
Hi David,
I checked both files and they are fine. Then I noticed productsmap_configure.php has the line
require("../includes/admin.php");
and removed the mod:
http://www.pricetapestry.com/node/2140
that I added to it and exact mathing works again. Thanks
Hi Allan,
The exact match names must match the main product names rather than the names that appear in the URL (which is the normalised version); what I would suggest if not currently running the latest distribution would be to extract the following files from it and upload to your installation;
admin/productsmap_configure.php
admin/productsmap_helper.php
...and that will give you the new helper tool which you can use to search products and then click to add an exact match alternative...
Hope this helps!
Cheers,
David.
