Filter Search Results

Hi david,

I would like to allow users to filter the search results. Say a user searches for "skis". then the results for skis come up and there are 200 results. Is it then possible to filter these results by brand and/or category.

I'm thinking of a dropdown box or a listing down the sidebar with the filters. So after the search on the searchresults page you'd have a two dropdown boxes to refine that search by the categories that are represented by the results and the brands. Or if it's easier to just list these in the sidebar like and have a title "Filter by Category" then list the links to the categories below that and the same for brand.
