When a user clicks on a merchant is it possible that the merchant name would not be in the search box but in the checkbox below the search box so the user could search that one merchant node on what they are looking for as if you try to search for anything with that info in that box it is not found.
Something I was visualizing while using ;)

The same wish would be for category, merchant and brand as them people could refine their searches in this.
Is that possible?

The Sidebar Filters mod (info - download) is 90% of the code required to implement this; I know you have been using the script for several years and have made several modifications so perhaps rather than download and overwrite your files with the patch if could could email me your search.php and html/searchresults.php i'll merge the patch for you as the first step towards implementing this (the only difference is pre-populating the drop-downs for merchant/category/brand index searches which is straight forward)...
