Hello,
Is it possible to have individual merchant filters like the global filters have so if I wanted to only show shoes from sears it would only show the shoes but that rule would only apply to that merchant.
Is that possible?
Hello David,
All the stores are gag gifts and sears or kohls has them also. I do not want to list a blender on there. I wanted to filter just the sears or kohls to only show these niche products while not messing up the other stores as they will add all their items as they only sell gags.
Is that possible?
Individual merchant rule
Thank you,
Mike
Hi Mike,
If you have individual feeds for Sears and Kohls then simply use a per feed filter by clicking Filters along side each of the feeds, and in this case you probably want to use a Drop Record If Not RegExp against the Category field. You will then be able to enter a list of categories to import from that feed using, for example:
(Gags|Gifts)
...in other words a pipe separated list of categories you wish to import, enclosed in brackets. Don't forget to re-import after creating / updating filters as changes are only applied at import time...
Hope this helps!
Cheers,
David.

Wonderful Thank you. It works like a charm. I need to get another script to create the feed prior to PT as the size of one store was 900 meg hehe
Thank you again.
Hi Mike,
In this scenario do you need to use Global Filters because a) you have more than one feed for Sears or b) Sears products are in a multi-merchant feed? If you just have a single feed for Sears then if can of course be done using a feed based filter, using presumably Drop Record If Not against the Category field with a value of "Shoes"...
Cheers,
David.
