Export of data

Hello David,

I tried the versions of the export.php I noticed that data like in the description if there is a , it will put it on a new field and same if there are other characters. I tested the xml version and it did not do this. I thought it would be nice to have for shopping engine export.

Have you seen this happen before?

I've updated the CSV version from this thread to remove any new line or comment characters that would break the format from the output...

Those are exactly the ones I tested. The only one that did not split is the XML version. Maybe it has something to do with the coding of a previous Price Tapestry version.

Hi Mike,

XML is a far more robust format in this case but the modified version of the CSV export shouldn't now be breaking fields at all, let me know if you're still not sure...
