General Voucher by Merchant (example: free shipping)

Hello, still working on getting the latest release going just right. I like the new features and discover new improvements every day. One thing with the vouchers though - is there a way to handle generic vouchers that you don't need to apply to specific products? For example, a free shipping voucher code. I just want to add the voucher and have it appear on all pages for that merchant without affecting the price. The voucher input page makes me enter all the fields and it doesn't seem to do what I want in this case. Another example would be a very good voucher for a certain group of items, but I want to show the coupon on all pages for that merchant as an incentive to go look at the merchant site. The voucher might not apply to the item the user is looking at, but it might be of interest. I could add some merchant specific coding to make this happen, but I would like to set it up with the start/end dates like the other vouchers.

Is there a way for me add a voucher with only the code and description (or maybe just the description) and have it show up for all items for that merchant?

Thanks so much,
Gregor

Hi Gregor,

0.00 is a valid entry for Minimum Spend, I just double-checked on my test server, have a go by adding a new voucher, selecting the Merchant, enter the code, and then enter 0.00 in the Minimum Spend box, select Discount Type "Other", and finally enter the text e.g. "Free Shipping" in the Discount Text box...

Hope this helps!

Cheers,
David.

Thank you David. I see the little note on the voucher page now :) . I tweaked my product page a bit and now it's doing what I like.

Cheers,
