Product Mapping Upgrade / Install

Hi David,

The new features look useful, so I deleted all the 12/10A Files and installed the 12/10B files on same new domain. (I read you don't recommend simple upgrading for old sites).

So far things were looking fine, and I am playing around with the new Product Map where I can easily search for products, highlight them, and transfer to map in one click. The problem is though, that the new mapped products are not being saved. When i press the "Config" link to inspect or edit the map, the list box is blank.

So I'm wondering if I need to delete and install new tables during the upgrade? There is no Mysql error so the table might be fine , and if so, why are the mapped products not being saved?

Hello Ken,

Yes there are new fields in the productsmap table that are required to support the new custom fields etc,; so that will be why the mappings are not saved.

To update the database, download the Admin Upgrade patch (download extras page) for the version that you were running previously and inside the archive you will find an upgrade.php script. Upload that to your new installation (main folder), browse to it once and that will update the productsmap and create the new jobs table for the Automation Tool...
