Hi dave
I have already downloaded SidebarFilters.zip but it contains only dropdown mode, i need list version of the sidebar filters code. can you please give me list version of the sidebar filters code.
Please could I also have this. I'm running both the latest and the version prior to Jan 2011 of PT.
Thanks David
Hi bat,
If you're running different versions if you could perhaps email me 2 separate .zip files with search.php and html/searchresults.php and i'll merge the list version into each for you. Please note that I am going to be offline for most of today but will make the changes as soon as i'm back online properly...
Cheers,
David.

it would be nice if you could place the mod along with the other solutions listed as extra ready for download from everyone. I am one of the many (i believe) which wanted it ;-)
hey,
Any chance you could email the modified list version of search.php and search_results.php over to me? Curious to see the other version of this.
Cheers
Steve
Hi Steve,
It's quite a significant modification as the filter must be treated as an array rather than a straight forward string value so assuming that you will have made changes to your files also if you could email me your search.php and html/searchresults.php I'll add the code for you to try...
Please note that I only have limited Internet access this Bank Holiday weekend so if I don't get a change previously I'll be able to add the code for you when I'm back in the office first thing Tuesday of course...
Cheers,
David.

Hi david,
I appreciate you taking the time to integrate the this modification, and there's no rush as to when it's integrated, i'm totally overhauling my site atm with the latest version, i don't believe i've modified that version too much yet. I've only just started getting to the search pages. So it shouldn't be too far off the latest version.
Enjoy your time off this weekend, well what's left of it :)
Steve
P.s. I'll send a copy over later on. Cheers.
Hi David,
I would be happy to have filter in list fromat, instead of dropdowns.
I imagine that filter should look like:
By Brand:
- brand 1 (xxx)
- brand 2 (yy)
- brand 4 (zzz)
By Category:
- category 1 (xxx)
- category 2 (yy)
By Whatever:
- whatever 1 (xxx)
- whatever 2 (yz)
etc. etc.
I can send you my files, just tell me if you need them. I have made modifications in them, added more parameters to filter on my custom columns in product table.
Regards,
Karolis
Hello Karolis,
Sure - email me your search.php and html/searchresults.php and I will convert to list versions for you to try. I will add count code but bear in mind that could have performance implications so I will make it easy to turn off if required...
Cheers,
David.
