Hi David,
Just looking at why this site is NOT getting too many conversion's and found a potential reason. I found that each product that appears on the product page should when clicking go through to product.php for a more detailed description of the item, but it doesn't.

Whereas I have two other sites sharing the same installation that do more or less that same thing and they work OK? as shown here.

can I call on your expertise again please to advise where the problem might lie?
Cheers

Ah, Thanks David,
turns out that a new seo plugin was messing with the permalink structure...
so sorted that out thanks, and now for the second question?
Is there a way to make the product pages more appealing in terms of their design. I know you just put basic css in there so we can develop it, but do you know of any good resources that can be relatively painless to implement and make the pages look a little more professional?
sorry if off topic
Thanks again

Hi Paul,
The first page (not working) appears to be re-writing anything after the / at the end of the URL back the base page, so it's not letting the ?pt=1&product= parameters get through to your external.php calling code.
Can you check that the .htaccess on the non-working site is the same (I assume it should be) as the one from the working site, and if that looks good I think it must be a Wordpress setting to do with Permalinks - double check the Permalink settings in your Wordpress admin area for each site and check that they are working in the same way - if you copy the settings from the working site that should do the trick...
Cheers,
David.
