Roadmap and Seasons Greetings!

Submitted by support on Fri, 2010-12-24 10:34 in

Hi everyone,

Thanks for the continued feedback regarding the 12/10A beta distribution. I've had a number of ongoing email dialogues with several users as the voucher code functionality is fine tuned, and it is now my intention to finalise the new distribution in the week commencing 28th December.

With the new distribution live, I shall then re-work the external scripts to bring them fully up to date (all existing external scripts _will_ work with 12/10A with the exception of merchant logos and voucher code support).

With updated external scripts in place, I then plan to develop a "DB API module" that will provide the full search, voucher code and price comparison functionality from a Price Tapestry managed database, but returning the results as data structures rather than HTML. These results can then be embedded cleanly within any external website that has PHP / plugin capability.

I also plan to re-organise the forum which, after 5 years has grown significantly, in order to make it easier for new users to find relevant information (e.g. installation help, datafeed help, modification help etc.).

Finally, may I take this opportunity to wish everyone a happy festive period and, of course, a very prosperous new year!

Cheers,
David.
