Hello,
CJ.com allows me to setup a ftp directory on my host so it's not a problem, CJ.com posts the feed on /feed.
But how can i add feed from url (like NetAffiliation for exemple)?
Thank you.
Pop

Hello Pop,

Welcome to the forum!

Most networks don't "push" feeds in the way that CJ offer, instead, the normal procedure is to download a feed from the affiliate network to your local computer, and then use your FTP program to upload it to the /feeds/ folder of your Price Tapestry installation.

I would recommend the following process in the first instance;

1) Download a merchants feed using the download URL provided by the network

2) If the feed is compressed, unzip the file on your local computer

3) Rename the feed to something that easily identifies it, such as MerchantName.csv

4) Upload to your /feeds/ folder, and then register (first time only) and import as normal.

Ultimately, you can move on to consider automation; that is setting up a CRON process on your hosting account to automatically fetch the feeds for your merchants and then import them. Full details of how to go about that are here. It may look a little daunting at first, but it covers all the different scenarios as not every affiliate network does things in the same way - but it resolves down to a very straight forward script which you can set up to run via cron.

I wouldn't worry about that straight away; get things working by uploading feeds manually in the first instance, and once everything's looking good consider moving on to automation then - I would take it all one step at a time!

Cheers,
David.

Hey David!
Thank you for your reply.
The link doesn't work but i found the node and try it later ;-) (seems not easy for a noob like me)
I'm going to customize template and other things before.
