Changing the look of the search results on just some pages

Submitted by kimarie on Sun, 2010-08-08 14:16 in

http://www.******.co.uk/fashion/dresses/maxi-dress

On my category pages like above I only want to show the picture of the item and have the results next to each other rather than underneat BUT on search results people get through the search box http://www.*****.co.uk/search/results-page?pt=1&q=maxfactor+colour+adapt etc I would like it to show the actual product name, price etc.

Is there a way to do this?

Hi,

Sure! It's straight forward to make search.php use a different HTML module to display the results if it is showing a category results page. I already have a version of html/searchresults.php to display results as a grid, so if you could email me your existing search.php i'll add the code to make it call the grid results version instead...

Cheers,
David.
