I´ve seen this question popping up a couple of times in the forum, for example in this topic http://www.pricetapestry.com/node/3324 , and I have a similar issue:
- I have a field in my database called "City" and would like to search for this field instead of "name", using a drop down menu. Also, would be interesting to search for the field "Country", or a combination of both "City + Country".
In that topic, you don't provide an answer, is it somewhere else in the forum or would be possible for you to modify it?

Sure - it's a straight forward modificaion to add but involves quite a few changes in different places so not very easy to document through the forum i'm afraid. As I offered in the other thread, if you'd like to email me your search.php and html/searchform.php i'll add a drop down to apply search to Name, City or City and Country...
