Extend The Product Database

Hi David,

I was hoping to get some advice on what steps need to be taken to extend the product database with more fields and ensure PT still functions correctly with the new fields?

When I am importing the datafeeds I can select which feed item corresponds to which database column which is fantastic, but I immediately noticed that I couldn't extend the database to include more information that was available from the feed, take for example the 'Thumb Image URL', I couldn't add this new field I wanted in my product database and choose what it corresponds with in the feed.

What exactly do I need to do to ensure all of PT functionality still works with these new columns if I was to add them?
